Our first 4 wheeled vehicle after we got married was a '67 GMC van. (She had a bike when we got married, I had a thumb.) That one is a 64-66. They had a 250 straight 6 in them, three on the tree standard, and they were awful in the winter unless you put 500 lb of patio stones in them. The engine was beside you, and you could tune the carb as you drove. My taught my wife how to drive a standard with it and put 2 clutches in it over the 8 years we owned it. ;)

A local body shops' vans that drive around here have hot rods painted on the sides. Next time I see it I'll try to snap a picture.

And it sure was nice doing service/repair on those vans in bad weather. It could rain like He.... and you never got wet.
