I can't remember which but Auto Zone or Advanced Auto loans tools out for free, you just have to give them a 100% deposit. Fully refunded when the tool is returned.

It's a special tool.I think it's 50mm threads on it.I had to buy one for the build I'm doing now.I think it was around 60-70 bucks.I have to figure out a timing issue on m ine.

I had to buy one - your only other choice would be to take the bike to the dealer and ask them to pull it for you.

And I'm guessing the "stealership" would have charged $100+ for the job?

I was tempted to go to the dealer - but then I thought about the time it took to take the engine to them, the thought of leaving the engine there, going back to pick it up, etc.  I just decided to buy one.  I would be willing to rent it to responsible people......I would have to charge a depost fee.  I also made a tool to hold the flywheel while tightening that nut, and the large deep socket for the flywheel nut.
