Title: X-mas.. show n' tell... Post by Serowbot on 01/06/13 at 16:51:51 Got my brushguards installed... they do seem to reduce wind on my hands by 50 to 60%... I had to mount the mounting brackets upside-down to clear the wiring, but it works... http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt82/serowbot/DSCF0953.jpg ... my handlebars look a little busy... but, it gives me something to do on the road... :-?... http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/tt82/serowbot/DSCF0954.jpg |

Title: Re: X-mas.. show n' tell... Post by Serowbot on 01/07/13 at 05:41:50 Just the 4 allen head screws... 5 minutes... ... but I may leave them on... I been hit in the knuckle with gravel and big bugs,.. even a small bird... Depends on whether the look grows on me,.. or grows old... I like the general look of brushguards, but these are a bit "Batman"... ..but, the $20.00 price drew me too them... I might also try to block the vent holes... not sure if that will make any difference... PS... I did have to buy 4 longer allen screws to fit the 1" bars.... 0.65 each... |
