Well, I pulled the proverbial trigger and ordered a set of Michelin Commander II tires, 11.5" Progressive 412-4201C shocks, and a Super Brace. I think everything will be delivered by the end of next week so I should be able to report on ride and handling changes in a few weeks if I get a break in the weather, or April if I don't. Once I have it all in place, i will get them listed on the tire spreadsheet OF set up on Dropbox. I also ordered a 90 degree valve stem tube for the rear. I am really looking forward to that.

I took advantage of a sale price on the Bell Revolver Evo Helmet ($149) so I can ride around looking good! Well, better, anyway. I really like the pin-stripes on the matt black.

Is that a full face flip up or is that seam an illusion?

It is Bell's second generation modular flip up helmet. Below is a link to the Revzilla review although I bought it from the Motorcycle Superstore.

Having been in now 3 major motorcycle wrecks, I do not trust flipups or partial helmets. For me it is either a real full face, or nothing at all. Most of the impacts are to the face and jaw, and so I want something there.

But that is a nice looking lid.

I wrecked in my yellow Bell Revolver Evo, low speed, about 15 mph, still need to replace it, after awhile the relative cheapness of the Revolver comes through with a hard/sticky to open modular part, I loved that yellow though, it's a decent helmet for sure though, I love modular helmets, since I have glasses with modular helmets I don't have to take my glasses off to put it on and off

+1 The Bell Revolver was delivered today and has already been shipped back. Both the flip up portion and the internal sun shade left a lot to be desired. The front piece seemed like it was out of alignment and only one side would latch without pushing from the front. The sun screen was not well tinted and also rather clunky.

I really like the old, discontinued Bell Zephyr I bought on clearance last February for a whopping $35 but they do not make shields for it anymore. I now have a Bell Vortex and a dark shield on order. We will see.
