first off hello new friends, i just got my first savage its an 04, completely stock, its my goal over the winter to bob it out.. im new to all of this as far as working on a bikes, especially savages if anyone has any tips or anything that would be helpful please send it my way.., or if you got any tips on using this forum to the best of my ability please let me know, not to sound computer stupid but i am and ive never used of these before.. thanks in advance.. cheers folks

First bit of advice is "Go Slow." A lot of people jump in and bite off more than they can chew all at once. Go slow... Ride it a bit and fix the things that really bug you. Then, after you know the bike, mod the heck out of it. :) But take your time.

Asking questions before you have even looked at the INDEX or used SEARCH marks you as a newbie, lazy, second rank -- and you don't want that.

Use the index and SEARCH, then ask intelligent questions about what you read. Folks tend to want to help you more that way.
