Works for me. I like to leave decorations up for months. :) We have taken ours down but only because we are packing stuff to make the move. |
Title: Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS Post by prsavage on 01/07/13 at 09:08:18 My outside lights generally stay up year round. But maybe this year I'll take them down as I put up icicle lights and that would just be too tacky to leave up. I keep telling myself I will get all of the decorations set for easy put up and take down. Maybe this is the year. |
Title: Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS Post by wambr on 01/07/13 at 09:58:59 Lancer, Prsavage, do not hurry down your Christmas decorations rope in front of another new year in Russia (according to the Gregorian calendar) and another one in the Chinese calendar ;D holidays are continuing ;D |

Serow, don't laugh... ;D we have a saying: " the wife's to her husband with a request " get the Christmas tree after the new year... and the calendar is already month of may. ;D |
Title: Re: MERRY CHRISTMAS Post by justin_o_guy2 on 01/09/13 at 16:42:30 OUr deck is lit well enough by the Christmas lites that we can enjoy being out there at nite. They dont seem to attract as many flying critters as a normal lite, I like the way they look. If they were "Tacky", then theyd be tacky in December, right? If something looks good in December, then whats changed that keeps it from looking good in May? Why is a living room at 73 degrees in August desirable but cold in January? |
