The act of riding one, is to thumb your nose at safety... ... a bike is a machine that wears it's insides on the outside... and when you ride one, so do you... And that's the thrill... I do wear a FF helmet,... just 'cause I can't face living without a jaw,.. or a nose... .. and because bugs and stones really hurt at 60mph... To ride is to challenge technology, and safety, and rules that mommy taught, and gravity, and physics... Why else does anyone ride?... you can get 55mpg in a Prius... If safety is your number one concern... you didn't buy enough wheels... :-?... |
