Title: Re: Old thumper Post by J C Stokes on 11/30/12 at 22:43:02 The weird boxes are a NZ and probably other countries idea of putting written directional instructions inside in scroll form. You turn the knobs on the end to wind from instruction to instruction.Keeps the paper dry. |
Title: Re: Old thumper Post by justin_o_guy2 on 12/01/12 at 04:58:06 Texas is ranked 2nd of area in the US. The total area is 268,820 square miles New Zealand has a population of 3,600,000 and approximately 60,000,000 sheep. The land area of New Zealand is 103,737 square miles YOu guys need MAPS? That place aint Big Enuff to get lost in,, I see you guys have almost 20 sheep per person,, thats pretty close to how Texans keep guns. |
Title: Re: Old thumper Post by J C Stokes on 12/01/12 at 10:01:34 JOG your statistics are a little dated, the poulation is slightly over 4 million and sheep numbers have dropped to about 30 million, théy've been on the decline since Britain, who used to buy the meat and wool went into the Euro Zone in 1972. The place is windy and twisty and yes you can get lost. |

Yep, and that 20 gun average makes its very own statement (my gun is bigger than yours?). Unfortunately, there is only an average of about 0.5 brains per person to go along with all those guns, which may explain why TX is ranked 5th in homicides per capita. Sorry, I shouldn't belittle an entire state because of some of it's residents. Comparing guns vs sheep? Can't remember when/if I've ever heard about a sheep killing someone? I think I'll take the sheep. |

Texas hasn't been in the top ten for a decade based on murder rate to population, but were for quite a long run prior to that. And actually the majority of the homicides in Texas are due to non-residents, the illegal kind along with the people working for them on this side :( |

Actually, I was mistaken, Toes. Thanks for catching my bad journalism, and sorry if I stepped on your, ...well, you know. I was taking info from this site, listing the 10 most violent states in America, which, for the sake of this argument, still tends to support my point... http://xfinity.comcast.net/slideshow/news-10mostviolentstates/1/ |
