...the way Republicans are treating Mitt Romney, you'd think he was a veteran or something.

Haha...   amen!   But of course, old silver toned Mitt has never had his hands dirty, let alone serve in the military.

Running for president and making $$$ is the most patriotic thing he has ever done for the country. of course his hands got dirty, he had to shoot the deer himself ... then the pics with the dead deer, that just was a mess. The blood almost got on his shoes.

Cool.

Ann Romney said that her husband and sons had not joined the U.S. military but had found “different ways of serving their country” by going on religious missions in France, England, Australia and Chile as part of their obligation to the Mormon church.

I tried to volunteer for a couple of years in France... investigating , the benefits of wine, rich food, and luscious women with surprisingly hairy armpits... but, I couldn't get the funding...
I might well have cured cancer,.. or converted Europe to Atheism...
You never know...
C'est la vie... :-?...

I guess that was a bit cryptic. What I mean is, the "winners" will suffer from their leaders actions as much as the bubs are suffering from having failed. That said, Romney would have screwed us the same as bammy will.Until there is widespread policy change, america will continue in the direction it is going & the destination we will find ourselves at lies in a line that runs straight down the road from the direction we are going.
We are going in a direction of increased debt, decreased value of the dollar, unemployment & social strife. Greece & Spain are experiencing what is our future.

There will be no policy change while the UNelecteds who Make policy are allowed to stay in DC. The presidents advisers are ALL & Have been since the days of JFK, ALL members of the same elite think tanks. The CFR, TRilateral Commission & Bilderberg group. While that has been true, the voice of the people has not been what DC has listened to.
