Title: 1997 LS color code
Post by v-pilot on 11/14/12 at 21:24:05

Hey, anyone out there know the code or name for the reddish color of the '97 model?  Head tag says 9/96 but title is '97   I've got a complete set of tins I'd like to sell but they have a few stone chips...wanted to pretty them up a bit and send the pen with.  Thanks :)

If you just need some touch up.....You might try using ColorRite.

You should be able to find the right color using their website:

v-p IMHO you're best off to clean them up and sell them as is. Most folks buying tins would rather see the original patina instead of wondering what kind of road rash has been covered up.
