I think I will run it for a week and see what it looks like. I also think chroming the muffler might look better.I do have some of the silver heat paint left so could coat the header wrap with silver to match muffler, but will wait a week to see how brown it looks. |

Heat wrap is something I expect on a "rat bike"......and it looks good on those bikes when it is discolored. You have made a bike that is spotless and sanitary looking.....which is not a strong point for heat wrap. You need a chrome pipe to match your muffler.....or you could get it white Ceramic coated. The ceramic coating is shiny and durable and you can clean it. White exhaust paint is flat and not really durable, and it will show all kinds of stains.....and you will be right back where you are right now. |
