Title: Turn signal won't quit blinking
Post by WeWontBlink on 11/11/12 at 13:19:55

My right turn signal won't quit blinking.  The switch seems to be working fine.  It clicks on and the button turns it off like normal, but the right signal keeps blinking.  When I turn on the left signal, both sides blink.  The switch is controlling the left side just fine.  All I've done is disconnect the battery and try again.  Still blinking.  Also unscrewed the switch housing just to see if anything looked burned or loose.  Everything looked clean...all wires soldered tight.  Any ideas?
2006 model with about 3k miles, btw.

A 2006 should also have the four-way flashers, with the switch near the throttle. Check that switch as well.

OK well now I feel pretty stupid.  The flasher switch was half way between on and off.  Turned it off...turn signal stopped blinking.  Never thought about it since it was only the right side that wouldn't go off.   Thanks for your help.
