Title: different pulley gearing ? Post by singlesgoinsteady on 11/09/12 at 12:06:50 I searched gearing and pulley and got nothing. Are there any other rear (larger) pulleys that fit on this bike? I've got the Ryca kit and a chain conversion is a ways off for me. I assume a smaller up front one would bend the belt too much. |

Post by verslagen1 on 11/09/12 at 12:11:16 Currently (booohaha) nothing exists other than the kawa front drive pulley other than the chain conversion Now you confuse me since most want a larger front pulley or a smaller rear for a higher top end. You want a smaller front or a larger rear for more get up and go? |
Title: different pulley gearing ? Post by justin_o_guy2 on 11/09/12 at 18:20:43 If you go to a larger rear pulley you better be ready to use 2nd to take off & be Quick on the shifter. Talk about goin nowhere, fast.. |
Title: Re: different pulley gearing ? Post by ralfyguy on 11/10/12 at 08:30:49 One would think that it should be easier to find a different rear pulley and adapt that. But I don't know enough bikes to come up with one that could work. Around here I usually see Hurley's, but they all have those skinny narrow ones. I had several Hurley riders look at the size of the belt on mine and go: DANG DUDE! ;D |
