Does anyone know how the elbow in the Ryca scrambler is done, what size tube, material, etc.?  Any good points or bad in terms of performance or it getting int he way of your leg? I like the look but not sure if it works. Please help!

Wombat, I found this connector in a parts bin at a bike salvage yard.  My carb inlet O.D. is 57.1mm or 2.25".   This works with the RYCA CS-1 battery box and the rectifier on the front of it.   You can see more on it here:  http://rycatracker.blogspot.com/   You might take a look at it, I found the Ryca K&N filter to be ridiculously restrictive, see the blog.  Here's one here:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/eb-94-Kawasaki-Vulcan-VN750-750-Carburetor-intake-boot-/220858362313

Good luck -SGS

It angles it down, then slightly to the right and pointing aft.  My leg just clears it comfortably.
