Post by justin_o_guy2 on 10/19/12 at 23:46:51

I always wear a ball cap. Raining? Keeps it off the glasses, sunny? Shades the eyes, &, always hides my hair,, all pluses. I prefer caps with no logo. Hard to find. The store in the mall has them, for about 25 BUX,,
At lowes, I see a rack of caps, for $13.00!,, No Logo,, well,, waddya KNow? So, I start lookin & I see an added feature,, LED Lites!, 2 under the bill, one on the end, First click, the 2 lowers come on,, 2nd, they go off, the one on the end comes on, 3rd, all 3 are on,, Ive had it 2 days & I Totally dig it, I got 2 more today, just in case when this one gets too filthy to wear Ill have another one, if they stop makin these,,

I saw them once before, about five or ten years ago.  Handy for working on dark wiring closets or looking under the car....

Well, I wear a cap unless Im welding, in the shower or in bed. Its not uncommon to see me wearing one just sitting around the house. Buying one I want isnt easy. I usually wind up buying something with a team logo on it & then people think I give a hoot about the team & wanna talk
about them,, I hafta tell them I dont follow football, I just needed a cap.. They look at me like Im crazy,, but these have no logo, cost less than other caps And they have LITES!! Talk about a Home Run! & Yea,, Its already proven handy. In just the first day I found myself in a spot,, & I can see it coming in real handy working on tiny stuff with the dremel. Even in the light at the workbench, sometimes its just not enough.

I to always wear a cap and have since back in high school.  I'll admit I don't always wear a helmet and normally on most of my short rides just wear my cap but have issues with it wanting to blow off even with my big windscreen.  Some days I have no issues others it seems no matter what I do I just can't seem to get it to stay on.

JOG, if you aren't boycotting Wally-weird plain caps are usually $3-7. I buy them in bulk, wear them out pretty quick. Or they blow off and the bush hog mower destroys them (12' cut, cap gets hit by 3 blades and comes out in ribbons). Got a hair cut almost 2 years ago, still isn't long enough to catch all of it in a pony tail.
