Title: Radials? Post by gerald.hughes on 10/13/12 at 19:05:25 I noticed that many of the new bikes are coming equipped with radial tires.  Has anyone had experience using these tires on the Savage?  Any opinions?

Title: Re: Radials? Post by oldNslow on 10/14/12 at 07:20:48 Don't take this as gospel, 'cause it's just one guy's experience on one bike, but I have a 140/90 Shinko 712R on the back of my 2006. Tire was on the bike when I bought it. Pretty sure it's a radial. Bike handles just fine. If it wasn't for the "R" stamped on the tire I wouldn't know the difference.

I just looked up that tire on the mfrs web site. It's not a radial after all. Sorry about that.
