Title: buggered air/fuel mixture screw
Post by JBK on 10/12/12 at 19:16:11

mine seems to be turned all the way in with no way to back it out. will this affect anything? it seems to be running ok. although it backfires like crazy on decel.

A lot of boogered mix screws lately...  if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

Try just raising your idle speed a bit... that will often help with decel backfires...
;)...

either take it to a machine chop or live with it.
boogered screws and noobs don't mix.

I can't say exactly a model of the carburetor . it is very similar to mine. but I don't know your model... :(
but to win backfires, if you can do such as air filter more dense than stock . then the air fuel mixture will be more rich.

I figured out how to remove mine. I posted a thread about it at the top of this section. Hope it helps...
