Hey Midnight!  I've been out of touch off and on.  Did something (else) happen to Mick?

Had a 500cc Goldstar back in the 60's.   It made me vow to never own another Brit bike again.   Of course, the lesson is...  never say never!   Wouldn't mind having a newer Triumph machines.

Also had a Goldie in the 60's.  SOme problems, a lot of vibration, and a ball to ride.  Wouldn't trade my Savage for one, it did have problems, but then, so did all of the bikes in the 60's.  They just had different problems.  Brit bikes leaked, and Jap bikes didn't, but Brit bikes handles, and Jap bikes didn't.  What you rode depended upon which set of problems you could live with, and what was most important to you in a bike.  All in all, while the Savage has its own set of problems, given the whole package, it is what I choose to ride.  Oh yes, it puts a lot of smiles on my face.

I'm worried. I've emailed him 3 times, no response. He has always emailed me back.
