Title: Speaking of that right handle switch wiring...
Post by Cavi Mike on 10/05/12 at 00:24:28

Can someone please verify if the kill-switch is normally open or normally closed? I already sold the switch but turns out there is a wire going to the CDI and I'm pretty sure this is a power wire - meaning that the kill-switch is normally closed and provides power to the CDI. Without the switch, I need to verify if I'll be needing a new power source for the CDI.

I'll be not running a kill-switch if anyone was curious. Just a toggle for main power that will shut the whole bike down.

That's right, Mike!

The kill-switch is normally closed, giving power to the ignition part of the bike.

"Orange" feeds it (from the key switch) and if the kill is closed, it connects it to "Orange-White" which feeds the ignition coil and CDI.
