He could have ended this race last night but did not mention the 47 or ryans 25% remarks or several other flip flops.....2 more chances. The mod sucked as well! Biden put ryan in his place last night no more getting away with lies! Good news last night in round 2 Obama handed mit his stones, about time he told the real story of this election and what it means for all of us. Number 3 clearly went to Obama more facts better comand of the room, 4 more for 44. |

Then it hit me, he reminded me of a Boss I used to have, he didn't know crap about the job I and others did, but loved to dress down the employees at every chance, knowing that they most likely wouldn't tell him he was full of crap.. The impotance of this debate was huge for Romney, but means very little in the bigger picture.. If you remember Kerry beat up on Bush somethin terrible in the debates, but remember the outcome.. |

Biden controlled the discussion, refuted everything out of Ryan's mouth and to Democrats and Independents was obviously the winner. However to Republicans, Biden was mean and disrespectful to Ryan and in their mind actually lost. This is how Republicans have behaved for years now. Anything that does not fit with their world view is either ignored or denied. Scientific proof and fact checkers mean nothing, Romney's campaign even admitted that "We Will Not 'Be Dictated By Fact-Checkers." When someone is willing to damage the country they profess to love as long as by doing so they damage the black president that they hate with every fiber of their being, when they're willing to deny any fact and willing to believe any lie then there is nothing that reasonable and rational people can do to convince them otherwise. |

Plus the product slated for this pipeline was not for OUR market, it was to be refined by our refinerys, and slated for sale overseas, mainly China... So we take all the risks and the pollution (Oil sands crude have a abundance of heavy metals, nasty stuff in refining process), and get none of the benefits... You ask how do I know this stuff? It was an ill-conceived and stupid attempt to tear the country in half by declaring war on the USA and in doing so paying an awful price in blood and treasure on both sides. Regarding Israel, their importance would be lessened if the majority of Arab countries surrounding them were occupied by cultures with greater redeeming value to offer the world than they do now. |

However, with a little nudge from bad poll numbers, his evolution was completed and he swapped sides. You must have been beside yourself when you heard he swapped positions. (no pun intended....) Now, Romney did switch from a woman’s right to kill her baby to a baby’s right to live. At least he went in the right direction on that on. Afghanistan; I’m not aware that he changed anything. I thought he’s said all along he’d pull out as long as conditions on the ground were satisfactory. If not, he’d stay. If he’s said something different, I’ve not seen it, but to be fair, I haven’t looked. As far as the others, not sure. Did he say he’d bomb Iran and then said he wouldn’t? You’re going to have to cite chapter and verse in HIS OWN WORDS as evidence of changing positions. |

Get off our oil teat, start by backing diesel hybirds, capable of 100+ MPG, move our energy use to solar/wind, and geothermal. Make it a requirement on all new home starts to have at least 25%.. Once we do not depend on middle eastern oil we can tell em all their on their own, that includes Israel, they want to live in Ft Stinkin desert, let em.. Or we can move em to New Israel Nevada, we have some fine desert right here... But the days of backing dictators, kissing everyones butt that has oil, is over... Also the days of sending our youth overseas to be slaughtered every ten twenty years would be over.. Every young man and woman will have to serve two years after high school, They will guard our borders, we will then move ICE to imigration only, it works for Switzerland.. Then this nation has to decide that a balance of socialist and capitalist is the best route. Socialize medicine, everybody is covered, everybody pays, from birth to death, and make it a self standing system... Legalize pot, tax it.. And maybe even socialize education through college.. Then lower taxes on corporations that hire here, drop import fees for those countrys that are willing to drop theirs, and re-introduce Glass Stegal to stop the legalized gambling in our markets.. I would rather pay 60% in taxes for a system that will support peace, prosperity, health, and welfare of its people.. Thats my opinion, they are like assholes, everybody has one.... Everybody is allowed to have an opinion, I really don't care if you served or not.. One of the things I served to protect was your freedom to speak out..
