hi guys!
in General, having driven it for at its savage, I realized that I want to change it. you have this idea of " I want the front and rear wings like a Drifter or Indian. and the ape hanger...
can someone do like? or seen on the pictures... for any advice would be appreciated.

Hey Wambr I've seen a few nice looking LS650's with fuller fenders but none with the Drifter/Indian style full fenders myself. Here's two that I like alot WD's ride and another I found on Google images (if it's someone from the forums please let us know, sweet looking bike).

Don't try to use a Drifter fender unless you are very skilled with plastic or fiberglass work. A steel replica Indian Chief fender is going to be huge, you will need to section it and weld the skirted pieces back together. And the front fenders were designed for use with a 5.00-16 tire, I would suggest you try to find a Gilroy Indian Scout front fender and say close enough. You'll need to redrill the fender mounts and will likely need to section and narrow it as well.

The rear fender on mine is a replica 1970-84 Shovelhead FLH unit. It is not cheap and is nowhere near a bolt on deal. You will need to custom make the front mount for it AND either adapt a set of Harley fender rails or make it pivot with swingarm (think Drifter 1500). Mine is mounted in a surplus 1970s Jammer 7 inch sidemount headlight bracket, the rear is braced with the extended exhaust (drilled the fender and the fishtail pipe end, VN800A rear side reflector bracket for the brace). I now have a modified VN800A seat for it (real 2 person seat) that will supply extra support to the fender.

The apehangers are easy. Standard one inch non-dimpled, custom cables and brake hose, extended wiring harnesses. Buy some better risers or pin your bars, the bars WILL eventually move if you don't.

The ease of customizing them is one of the best things about a Savage. It's a cheap platform to play with, many Harley parts are easy to make work on it, and you can't screw them up (except the electrical system, really cheap Lucas knock-off).

I really like mine. One of these days I'll fix the electrical system and start riding it again.

looking at the pictures, I would like to get in the end is something average between the first and second...I like a fish tail and [ch1072][ch1088][ch1077][ch1093][ch1072][ch1085][ch1075][ch1077][ch1088] from the first and the body of the second...
