Title: Valves look white....

Another question from me.  You've all got to be getting tired of reading these. lol  Sorry.  I appreciate the help though.  Anyway....

I had my exhaust off, and took a look into the top of the head through the exhaust port.  I noticed that the valves were almost white (the top that is...valve stem), and almost looked dry.  The bike had been sitting for a couple days prior.  I've never seen valve train look like that, and am wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me?

Thanks.

not unusual, just deposits on the stems.

Anything is possible around you Sero  ;)

Seriously, I'd rather see white there than what we see so often at the mower shop. Way too many poorly cared for units that have huge carbon buildup or burned valves from clogged air filters and low oil!

10/4.  I just never noticed it before I guess.  I dont' recall ever seeing it on any cars of mine, but i thought bikes might be different for some reason.
