You won't have to re-jet with this muffler mod!

I used to use playing/baseball/football cards as well but never had a cool muffler looking amplifier!

YOu guys remember the Vroom Motor? I got one of those pieces of crap for Christmas one year,, My Gaaawd! Did these people Not Get it? A bicycle is transportation, IF I want it to make noise, Ill get a clothes pin & a card, but I dont wanna be luggin a hunk o garbage around. I had trails to ride, up & down the hills running along the bank of the bayou. When they dredged it, they stacked the dirt about 12 or 15 feet from the drop off, about 8 to 10 feet, then there was about 15 feet from the base of the drop off to the bayou. We rode those hills, had jumping contests, I rode off a house, down a 2X something,, not a 2X4, but it was exciting, rode down into a dump truck load of rice hulls they used to fill yards in.,
So, I REally didnt have room for a Vroom motor,, thankfully, it broke quickly.

I say all that to say this.. I wouldna wanted one of these,.,

I guess I never really had a lot in common with most folks.

We would use playing cards held on with clothes pins......or when we really wanted to be obnoxious we would use balloons.  You would buy the long baloons and blow them up about half way, then tie each end to the frame or forks so that the balloon could be pushed between the frame and spokes while you pushed the bike forward.  The balloon would bounce over the spokes as you rode.  They worked great and lasted pretty long - provided your spokes were smooth and devoid of any rust.

JOG.....Yep, I remember the Vroom motor.  I had one for a while, but it bothered me that the speed adjustment for the motor did not vary with the bike speed.  There was a dial on the motor that allowed you to change the engine speed - but once set it just stayed at that speed regardless of what your riding speed was.
