Well that is sure good news, only a 40% price increase.
I bet that my social security will have a cost of living increase of at least 4-5% this new year then.   The gov't seems to think all of these pesky little annoying things really don't count, especially food and gas prices.  They are not even counted when they do the calculations for the cost of living.  Benefits for us keep fading away too.  Interesting isn't it ?????????????
Hmmmm, but their salaries and benefits just keep going up though.
I think it is time for gov't "servants" to have their salaries & benefits pegged to the average civilian salaries & benefits ... starting with the Congress and every single agency.
Term limits are needed as well ... REALLY NEEDED.
Speaking of which, there are a lot of agencies that are not necessary and most of the others should be drastically reduced, and fed properties auctioned off with every penny of that money applied to our trillions $$ debt.
It would be a good start at least.

Like Dirty Harry said, "we own this country & they are our employee's".
It's time we act like it and hold them to count or "let them go".

I would not be surprised at all.

It is very interesting that a copy of The Constitution of The United States, with the 26 Amendments, The Declaration of Independence, and additional pages of the men who signed them and dates to remember and an index, all fit in a
3"x6" pocket size booklet ...
and yet our government is incapable of running the country properly with millions of pages of laws & regulations.

It kind of makes you think of that upside-down carburetor mentioned elsewhere on this forum, eh ? ? ?

I believe that for every new law or tax that is passed.....we need to start repealing 2.   We have reached a point that there is just too much government and too much waste.
