Title: Doo Rag question
Post by Greg on 09/08/12 at 10:08:59

While looking at many members' bikes for ideas, I notice some have a doo rag/bandana tied to the forks. What is the meaning behind this?

We used to hang one from the rear view mirror. Some still do. It was just a decoration celebrating the 70s/80s. I think it looks kinda cool on the bikes but didn't want to p!ss off some MC or gang guy.

I thought it was one of those deals (like on calendars of firemen) where the color and the placement of the hanky was a code of some sort.

I had one tied to my sissy bar. It was orange. That was the color the kids at the Children's Hospital picked to represent them during the Miracle Ride (fund raiser for the hospital).
