Title: solo luggage rack. Post by mojohand40 on 09/03/12 at 11:15:09 Just curious: has anyone here ever put a solo seat type luggage rack on the rear stock fender? You, know those chrome tube type racks that you use with a solo seat? I kinda' got the idea that I would like to pull the side rails and sissy bar and pillion from my 98 savage, then replace the side rails with s40 rails, move the rectifier and reroute wires etc. then bondo over the holes in the stock fender, drill new holes for a luggage rack and then paint the fender. I'm thinking the luggage rack would be functional, but also cover up the nasty square section on the fender. So then I'd have a solo seat, luggage rack. get it? Anyways...anybody here do that yet? Any pics? Thanks!

Post by justin_o_guy2 on 09/03/12 at 13:46:12 You can buy one from Suzuki, but if ya do, take it to someone who can beef up the welds before you even put it on, Theres a coupla guys who have made them & the ones that come from the people here are Way better than whats out there to buy..
