Has anyone used this product before to reduce handlebar buzzing??

Also, if I decide to put lead shot in my handlebars, wouldn't that stuff rattle around like crazy? Sorry if this is a dumb question :-/

I have used lead shot and if you fill the bars completely they don't buzz.
And it works to damp vibrations.

Do you have stock bars?... If so,.. it ain't gonna' fit...
They're pre-slugged...

I think you could drill the slugs and pour shot or BBs into it if you really wanted to. I have an aftermarket wide drag bar on mine and took the suggestion but loaded it with BBs instead of lead shot. BBs were less expensive and lighter and seem to work very well. After filling the bar I finished both ends with epoxy to seal 'em in. As long as you tap it a few time to make sure everything has settled before sealing, it works perfectly.

However, please be sure it's the bars and not the speedo or headlight. My headlight drove me nuts for quite while before I got it fixed.

Do you have ISO grips? My bike left my hands buzzy until I changes grips. Now, I can ride for hours without issue.

My stock handlebars don't buzz at all, but my girl's aftermarket ones do. I notice a huge difference between both our bikes. My hands will go numb after 1/2 hour on the highway using her bike. Lead shot sounds like the way to go. I checked the headlight and speedo and they are solid. Will also look into ISO grips.

Barrett, have you bolted your lady friends fender back in? See if it makes a difference.

I haven't bolted her front fender back in yet. I'll see if I can do that tomorrow and look for an improvement.

Just bolted on the stock front fender. Makes a very noticeable difference with mitigating handlebar rattling during higher speeds. Looks like we will stick with the front fender for now. I want it to be as smooth as possible for her so I think I will still stuff the aftermarket bars with something like lead shot.
