Title: Busted and pissed Post by Retread on 08/18/12 at 17:19:00 Well decided to do an old Sportster this year (will take all year on this one!), so I got myself a 78 Ironhead basketcase (I know better).. Well, I'm $1300 in the bike itself, now $1800 into the engine alone... Going to do some custom work on the exhaust, and of course rewire, paint, ect, ect... Might get 3-4K if I find somebody who wants a loud, obnoxious, barhopper, kinda like me without the barhoppin... ;D I'll keep you guys in the loop if you want.. |

I thought my HD project was a nightmare... oh yeah, that's why I left it behind when I moved... ;D Just f'n with ya, at least it's an Ironhead, and not a 79 (lots of one year only parts) or an Evo version... My 57 Pan was going to need over $28K worth of parts alone to get it back on the road the right way. |
