[ftp][/ftp]Hey everyone,

My bike runs well, but only when the petcock is set to PRIME.

Once the bike is running smooth after starting, I switch to ON and the bike idle slows for a minute then sputters to a stop.

Been reading up on the Raptor petcock switch, but any suggestions otherwise?

First, spend $1.50 and buy a piece of vac hose and replace the vac hose.

If this doesn't help, you need to read this and do the test.

thank you, looks like a kink in the vacuum tubing.

Will be ordering a Raptor to solve this problem.

I have a Raptor and love it, but you may just need a vacuum hose, or better yet, just a clamp on each end of the hose. If all else fails Raptor part number is 5LP-24500-01-00 at the Yamaha store. And PLEASE don't pay more than $25. Some guys on here should be riding BMWs the way they throw away money. BTW BMW has trouble with some of their fuel delivery systems, too.

Yep, there is a real intelligent answer to the problem in question !
