Title: Oil in my Carb breather hose? Post by RanDaMan on 08/03/12 at 10:40:07 Went to start up my bike and noticed what i though was a drop of gas coming out of one of my carb breather hoses. i wiped it away and it smelled faintly of gas but was def a drop of synthetic oil. not sure how it got there or why. any reason that anyone can think a little oil might come out of there? it dripped once on my belt and the other drop was hanging on the rubber hose? is this bad? :-/ |

Its not the crank case breather though i have a little cone filter over the crank case breather. There a two breather hoses that come out of the carb. one on each side. as far as i know the carb is mostly a one way street air goes in and pulls fuel in the same direction, nothing comes back out of the head into the carb? or am I missing something? |
