Title: I installed my KN air filter today... Post by Greg on 08/01/12 at 15:48:42 I wasn't going to get one but for thirty some dollars it seemed like a good financial decision since I plan on keeping my scooter for a while. It is the oem replacement. I must say that is the crappiest fit I have ever seen. I must have yanked it in and out 6 times to verify the install. I ran my hand along the back and looked where the air snorkel used to be. It appears to be in correctly. I just wish it had a positive feel like my old one. And yes, the out and up arrows were in the correct position. Unless they meant the other out and up... ::) |

Title: Re: I installed my KN air filter today... Post by Greg on 08/01/12 at 16:23:16 No. Drop in replacement #SU-6595. It takes a lot of pressure to get the metal "catch" installed and pressure to get the side of the airbox back on. I removed the snorkel a while ago to make it easier to stuff my rectifier down there. |
