Title: Re: Halvors project Post by wambr on 07/28/12 at 10:54:55 very nice turned out. the driver's seat of this "Hello from Russia?" ;) although it is harmoniously integrated into the overall style of the motorcycle. |
Title: Re: Halvors project Post by Halvor on 07/28/12 at 11:26:45 thanks. I like the rough rubber style of the Ural seat. It was easy to fit to. I made a bracket to fix it to the tank mount. Ural-LS? Lancer: the rear fender is a gl 1000 fender (1977) |

HA! HA! I had a feeling the ribbing on that fender looked familiar.... I'm using the same fender on my Would-be Roadster project!! That looks Great! Nice work, sir! |
Title: Re: Halvors project Post by Halvor on 07/28/12 at 14:05:13 I chopped of the donald duck end of the fender, and drilled 2 holes in the swing arm and fixed it with 2 long M6 bolts. I used the support on the other end and fixed it in the swing arm with 2 m5 bolts. I am not 100% satisfied becauce it is to narrow. I might make a new one later. I might buy one from this shop http://calleschopperdelar.jetshop.se/ramar-tillbehor/skarmar/bakskarmar-c-232-1.aspx I will install the o2 Gauge integrated in the head light. After that, I want to start a TR1 project. |
Title: Re: Halvors project Post by Halvor on 07/28/12 at 14:12:34 Heres a video with some Virago projects. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqWJlYqZt4o The TR1 (wich might be my next project) is a early chain driven virago. It is pig ugly original, but a easy base for big fun, like the LS :) |
