Title: carb problem. Post by TheFid on 07/20/12 at 22:39:20 My mate's problem is (we think) his carb, which is allowing fuel to run from the tank , into the engine, and out of the engine breather. Any ideas before we start a strip down?. His bike is a 1993 model. Another question, I have removed my tank a few times now without thinking of why the fuel does not run out when i lift it off. Why? |

If you're using the OEM petcock and the lever is set to "ON" or "RES", then the petcock should not flow any gas unless a vacuum is applied to its vacuum port. So, if you have an OEM petcock set to either "ON" or "RES," what you're seeing is normal OEM petcock behavior. |
