I am wondering if there is such a thing as a dry high performance air filter. Either drop in or replacement.

Good question Greg. I'd be interested in knowing that also. I'm not fond of the old wash and oil routine!

I dont remember of Old Fellers Home Brew filter used oil or not,,but if I hadnt bought the K&N before he came up with his Po'Boy filter, I woulda gone with his approach,

I think he sprayed Canola oil on it.

Heavy weight Gear Oil was the final version.

I know AFE and AEM sell dry cone filters, I'm sure there are also other brands out there as well. Just do a google search for Dry performance cone filter and you will get tons of results.

I got some dry cheapo cone off eBay for like $7.

Amsoil sells performance filters that are dry, but I'm not sure what they offer for motorcycle sizes.
