with all the money spent & all the people wringing their hands, WHY cant we get th3e education system FIXED!? Folks, Its Been "fixed",, the problem is, YOUR understanding of how it should work & THEIR understanding of how it should work, what kind of people should come out of it, Are Not the Same,.,.

Ummm, if we really valued the education system, teachers would earn a decent salary. We'd prefer to have professional sports players get paid millions whilst we pay our teachers low and below salaries.
It doesn't take a rocket sience degree to figure out where our priorities are. :o

It wouldnt matter if they were paid a million bucks a minute, the curriculum is handed to them & if they teach anything not so ordered, they get in trouble, The feds went to work on the school system & intentionally destroyed it,
Listen to the inteview, That old woman was in a position to see,
& John Taylor Gatto was an award winning teacher in NY,, he has nothing good to say about the way teaching is being done,

HPT, as far as educational standards are concerned we've been a 3rd world nation for several years. Taking the time to become properly educated cuts into the time your "precious little angel" could be spending obtaining "status" in their peer group while stroking mommy and daddy's egos.

Too much emphasis is placed on becoming proficient at tasks you can teach a chimp to do just as well. And the chimps would follow the rules (unlike modern so called athletes)...

Its not the teachers that create the education or fail to deliver it, its the Curriculum & Teaching Methods. Theyve been INTENTIONALLY ruined.,there really is an agenda to take America down & all the signs are in front of us, You REALLY think that Bill Clinton, much as I dislike him, I have to admit this, He Has to be the smartest guy Ive seen in that office,, you really think he didnt KNOW what Nafta was gonna do to us? Every thinking person I KNow did, & we were right,,
Until a guy learns to see behind the curtain, its all just a series of mistakes made in a state of chaos, but it really does stop being so confusing & chaotic once the eyes open up to the facts,

Well, it used to be that salary spreads were not as great nearly a century ago. Teachers don't make good enough wages, IMO. Yes, we do pay for sports figures. They are paid through stadium attendance and advertisements. (Time is money. How much time does one spend on the boob tube watching them?)

In other foreign countries, education is not free, or only "free" (paid fof by taxes) for say, up to 6th grade. Then it is on the parent's nickel. Overall, Americans are spoiled.

It does make one wonder when Orientals are despised for excelling in American schools (a "B+" is an Asian "F" ;D). Bright students in school are derogatorily called nerds. :o

There were three things that seperated us from the third world countries. 1. We took care of our children and gave them a good education. 2. We had a strong middle class. 3. We took care of our senior citizens and we HAD the best health care system in the world. Some people will argue about the health care system but you cant argue with the other three.

Call me paranoid or crazy but I believe it's all to create an illusion of freedom while in reality you're a mindless zombie. This is just another step to dumbing us down. I also just got back from having surgury this morning so I'm still loopy from pain meds.
