Looks pretty cool, very nice work. What function do the top and bottom portions have?

With just one bolt, arent you afraid it will loosen with vibrations?

Since that is the rear axle bolt, I'm pretty sure he'd have a lot more to worry about than his tail light if it did come loose from vibration...  ;D

Still, I'd put another small bolt somewhere like they did on the blue collar plate holder.

Thats some right tidy fabricating. If it ever moves, youll know its time to look at the axle,,

Probably, if anything it puts pressure clockwise on the nut anyway.

If that bracket can be used to loosen the nut, it wasnt near tight enough,

You could reuse your factory light w/extended wires and mount it too the top of your modified license plate bracket.

well to answer some questions, the top portion is were the 5" x 1 1/4" oval LED will mount when it gets here, the lower is just the way it worked out, thought it looked cool as a guard type thing, if the axle bolt loosens up the least of my worrys is the license plate  [smiley=grin.gif] , and trust me it doesnt move and i marked the axlenut with a marksalot just to visually chk it now and then, I will try and bury the wire loom ill make to hide it as well as possible, thanks for the compliments guys, I love building things for this bike, for pictures of other fabs ive done to it clki my name here, highway pegs, sissybar, after market pipe, etc.... ;)
