Title: Air box removal Post by SaVaGeEaRL on 07/04/12 at 06:10:30 Ok, so my k&n rc-1250 cone filter finally came in and I removed the air box and got the filter installed. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do with the vent hose that used to go to the air box and the top of the engine at the valve cover? I notice it's pushing air out and right now it's just hanging out just behind the battery box. Title: Re: Air box removal Post by Serowbot on 07/04/12 at 07:17:21 That's your crankcase breather... it's job is to let the piston come down, and to occasionally puke oil... It needs to breathe, so don't plug it... Small breather filters are available... like Thumper says... |

I have the same filter, but I think the space between the filter and the batterycover is too small and my filter is getting damaged by the batterybox... Or did you solve that problem another way? |
