Okay, here is the deal. Since I first bought my '02 Savage, I have had this rattle that has gotten worse over the last 5K miles (yes that is right, I have ridden it almost 5,00 miles since I bought it back in Sept of last year). Anyways, I thought that it sounded like valve train/cam chain/upper head noise. But I was wrong, it ended up being the band that goes around the headlight. Now here is my question, how do I stop it from rattling? I have searched here and I have came up empty handed. Maybe I have been missing it, I don't know. Thanks in advance.

Look in the Tech section. Under the table of contents Post #3 there are 2 links that talk about the headlight rattle and fixes.

JOG that's the thing.......I have two bike sites I know I can depend on.....this one and the Kawasaki KZ400/440 club site. Between these sites is all the information I could ever ask for! ;D ;D ;D
