There's gotta be some kinda old round style speedo with a trip odo I can mount on the bars. but I sure cant seem to find anything

If you're looking for an "old" one, any of the '80's GS series are old, round, have a trip meter and mount on the bars.

But I can't tell you if they are geared the same.

when I say old I guess I mean old style. i just dont like those big bulky vaper and vepour digital ones. I'd love to have a nice round old style speedo gauge mounted on my bars. but guess ya cant have everything lol.

How about a s50/Intruder800 speedo? Ditto what Vers said about gearing.

J C Whitney, J&P Cycle and others have some "vintage" speedos listed. Looks like the first thing to do is find out if your current one is 2:1,4:1 or whatever the ratio is.Then choose from there.

Look at a DR 650 speedo i think it will be just what you look for.

look at the RYCA speedo, will work with our bike and is only 50 bucks.

Note: That speedo is the 60:2240 ratio which works good for their 18" rear tire on the RYCA bikes, not sure how accurate it will be for the stock 15" tire :-?

Have you found an extended replacement for the factory "fin drive" speedometer cable?

If not, install what looks good to you, it won't be operable.
