So I took off the exhaust pipe and muffler earlier in the week and left it off while I was waiting for my exhaust wrap to arrive in the mail.

The wrap arrived today and I went to the garage and on the floor was a good size oil spill. WTF!! :(

Can anybody tell me what's going on?

When I put the exhaust back on and tighten up the bolt will it seal up the leak?

Not to worry, it's from your foot peg/engine mounting bolts.

It comes from the engine center parting line, oil collects in the bolt thru hole.

It'll go away once you replace the exhaust and torque them down.

Just so I'm tracking, even though I didn't loosen the foot peg side, when I loosen the bolt on the exhaust side if broke a seal?
Man, do I got a lot to learn about this bike.

No seal to break, soon as you loosen it, what ever trapped in there will come out.
