That was the working model to prove he was the inventor of STUPID that he showed to the patent office.

There is a 200 year old oak tree in the exact center of Quaker Bridge road in Trenton New Jersey.

They built a little island around it with flashing yellow caution lights, and it is so cool that I drive by it whenever I'm in town.

I actually love this. I'd have a basketball hoop on there and one on my garage. Full-court b-ball in a driveway!

I lived in India for 6 months and saw all sorts of CRAZY things that roads were built around, Poles like in the pic, trees, roadside temples/prayer booths. There was a huge Banyon tree near our home that must have been on the side of a small road at one point that eventually got expanded, ofcourse they just paved around it LOL.  It was right after you turned a corner, I'm sure many unsuspecting people on motorbikes met with unwanted suprises judging by the scrapes and gashes in the trunk of the tree.  :-?

Yeah, 40 to 0 in one millisecond    ;D   That had to hurt and I shouldn't laugh, but it's hard not to when seeing folks doing dumb stuff and getting tagged for it - natures way of gene pool cleansing, I guess.

I think he needs a little more practice riding.

My very first ever ride (with me in charge) on a motorized bike was at my grandparent's house.  I must have been around 5 years old, it was one of those pee-wee mini bikes or whatever.   Started in the back yard, Dad told me to ride a loop around the house.  Well, I guess when I got toward the front of the house, I turned too early and ran over the brick edging, through the flower bed, under a big bush and into the side of the porch.  Never let off the throttle!  Oh, fond memories...

;D  Yea, you English fellas....   8-)

I saw it on a t-shirt and loved it, so I copied it.  I don't think they will mind.

Since this was your thread to begin with, and you brought it up...  How do young English boys refer to how far they got making out with a girl?

I honestly don't remember any ...
I do remember that back then,... a home run would have been nothing more than a pipe dream...
...(literally)... :-?...

Despite a few "at bat's",... I never got to run the bases 'till I came to America at 15...
It's the land of opportunity, you know... ;)...

So your "adult" life has been here.  I see.

Kids today are learning to run the bases much much earlier than we did.

(Oh, and "at bat's"... thats cute..  ;)

Thats the trouble.  Everyone is in a hurry these days.  The Babe used to saunter around the bases after he would swat one-gave more time to enjoy the applause and cheering.

Never go out with a teacher they make you keep doing it till you get it right.
