Title: oil leak Post by nick3501 on 06/19/12 at 14:18:04 yes, another oil leak thread ;D well just got the bike, it seemed to have a pretty steady oil leak down the left side cooling fins, dripping on to the stator/alternator cover... looked and traced it back to a 12MM bolt/stud on the front of the engine, beside the exhaust. it was quite loose, so i just kind of snugged it up without torquing it down because im not entirely sure about it. It is a head stud correct??, and will i be ok just tightening it to factory spec or would i need to loosen all the studs, and re-torque them in sequence? the oil leak has stopped however |

Title: Re: oil leak Post by Dutchmen on 07/06/12 at 11:02:07 I have a 2012 w/800 miles and have an oil leak at the top of motor running down the back left fins. Does anyone know what might be leaking? |
