Title: Indescribable ride Post by jef.savage on 06/14/12 at 20:10:33 So I made a video... http://s1028.photobucket.com/albums/y343/jefscoville/?action=view¤t=MtWashington1.mp4 http://s1028.photobucket.com/albums/y343/jefscoville/?action=view¤t=MtWashington2.mp4 Sorry about the loud clicks, some part of my gear must have been banging on the camera. I had to cut it into two to get it onto photobucket |

Title: Re: Indescribable ride Post by Wake51 on 06/14/12 at 23:30:43 Whatta ride... beautiful terrain. My roommate would kill to go there and I would fork up the money I don't need to spend to follow if I knew he was going. Something about those days where the engine hums along just right along a back road. Long live the Otto Cycle. Thanks for sharing. |
Title: Re: Indescribable ride Post by ALfromN.H. on 06/15/12 at 03:04:24 I would have taken that ride if I hadn't been working yesterday. How much of a view did you have from the top? I was looking at the cloudless sky here yesterday thinking about what a great day it would be on top Mt. Washington. I've climbed it many times and rode the train up once but never took the bike ride up. Maybe next year. Great video. Thanks AL |
Title: Re: Indescribable ride Post by jef.savage on 06/15/12 at 06:18:24 It was absolutely perfect. About 70 degrees at the base and 50 at the summit with visibility of 100 miles. http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/y343/jefscoville/mtwash1.jpg |
