Just wanted to say thanks to all that have posted to this storehouse of information about our LS650s. I've found much helpful info and enjoyable reading!

I tried the seat mod using the rubber stoppers to raise the front of the seat and it works great. Not only does the mod help prevent the notorious forward slide,it cleans up the line from the tank to seat and also gives my legs just that extra room needed to be comfortable. I'm 5'10" and it's much better on my 40+ miles to work each day.

There's no doubt these are great scooters that will handle about any service we require of them and to have all the knowledge and sounding board we have here is nothing less than fantastic!
