Title: I looked but couldnt find it Post by rodeoclown on 06/06/12 at 03:23:13 What inline fuel filter are you guys using? I did a search but couldnt find it. |
Title: Re: I looked but couldnt find it Post by prechermike on 06/06/12 at 05:01:16 I know there was a thread on this, I remember seeing it recently, but I could not find it either. Anyway, there is no particular filter, go to a parts store and just get an inline filter for a whatever. I am looking for one now that might come out at an angle, just so I don't have to put so much line in there to not get a kink. Any of the paper element filters will work. |

Title: Re: I looked but couldnt find it Post by Dave on 06/06/12 at 12:15:22 Verslagen1....Thanks for finding this thread, I thought it was lost. I just got a Raptor petcock in the mail, and plan on testing the flow rate of the stock petcock and Raptor petcock, along with some filters to see if they cause a significant loss in flow. |
Title: Re: I looked but couldnt find it Post by prechermike on 06/06/12 at 12:55:31 I am glad the thread was found, I searched for it, I really did, even changed the week thing. I also looked in the tech section, scrolled back through a few pages. Honest. Wonder why I coldn't find it. |

JOG, I looked there too, actually in three stores and there I coudn't find a 90* for fuel, plenty for vacuum, couple for emmissions, and so forth. Nothing for fuel. Guess I am going with the long loop. I also looked for a filter that came off at a 90* but couldn't find a clear one of them either, a couple that were white plastic. I want to be able to see what is being filtered out. |
Title: Re: I looked but couldnt find it Post by verslagen1 on 06/08/12 at 14:51:34 AutoZone has a 90° that I like. 5/16 and rather large paper element. |
