Congrats Johan Santana! He came back from improbable odds and beating his shoulder surgery and throws the New York Mets first No Hitter. It only took 50 years to complete it. 8-)

When they say No Hitter, that doesnt mean no one hit a ball, right? Just no one got on base?

technically, no one got a hit, which means no one hit the ball into the outfield and reached base safely. so they could hit the ball and fly out, ground out, foul, etc. they can even reach base by error or walk.
