...costs a whole lot more to put the smoke back in than it does to buy a new one. First you have to find all the smoke....

This is actually a simple gadget (electrically speaking) and easily replaceable with a solid state unit that doesn't use heat as the switching factor.

So the wife said she was riding along and she smelled a really bad smell then saw some smoke. Pull off the seat and the tank and that is what I found. The wife sticks it up to her nose and says, "yep thats it"
