Title: Gaiter question Post by Greg on 05/17/12 at 15:26:58 A fork gaiter is basically a rubber shock boot like they use on 4x4 vehicles, correct? When I was heavy into the off-road thing, the one item I did not install on my Jeep was the shock boots. They have a tendency to hold in moisture and dirt. Now I know we aren't doing any mudding with our Savages, but wouldn't it do the same, only on a lesser scale? Condensation and road dust come to mind. Which begs the question, why would anyone put gaiters on their scooter? |
