Title: Quick question about carb mixture screw
Post by Jacob on 05/17/12 at 11:51:32

I have a 2012 Suzuki S40 650. I need to know the stock screw out turns? With it turned the whole way in, how many turns out is stock?

Thanks

Jacob

Any time an adjustment like this needs made, the smarty pants move is close the screw & count the turns, then open back to where it was & make adjustments from there, you can always go home,.,

On any carb on any engine.....if I don't know where the screw used to be......I open it 1.5 turns and go from there.  If turning the screw out to about 3 turns doesn't result in the engine idling too rich, then it is time to get a bigger jet.
