What do they do for your 600 mile oil change? I have a new suzuki boulevard s40 and I am about to reach 600 miles. I called the dealership and he said they would need it over night becasue they have to change valves, oil, and oild filter. Does that sound right? its $115 for the service. Will it void my warranty if I go a little over 600 miles?

The service performed is listed in the owners manual.
But besides an oil change, they "check" a lot of things and "advise" you if they need adjusting. So don't expect to pay just $115 cause they'll "need" to at least adjust your valves.

Aren't they supposed to retorque the head at this time?
if they do, demand that they RTV the head plug.

Hopefully,.. oil and filter,.. and "check" the valves... it won't void if you're a little over (within a 100 miles or so)...
$115 ain't too bad, if they really do what they say...

Once your warranty is up,.. you can learn to DIY, and save a bundle... should only take about an hour...
Dealers charge a lot... they got bills to pay... ;)...
